Run tasks in the Background
It is efficient to run some tasks simultaneously and automatically in the background. There are two ways in which running tasks in the background is supported.
- Manually triggered tasks are scheduled immediately via Job Queue Entries.
- Recurring tasks are scheduled in Job Queue Entries.
Run tasks in the background for a specific shop
- Choose the
icon, enter Shopify Shops, and then choose the related link. - Select the shop for which you want to run synchronization in background.
- Use the Scaptify Plus Setup action on the Shopify Shop Card page.
- Select the Allow Background Sessions checkbox to allow background synchronization.
When a sync action is triggered, the task is created as a Job Queue Entry and starts immediately.
Schedule recurring tasks
You can schedule the following recurring tasks to be performed automatically.
